We encourage all students to read these documents. If any part of a policy is difficult to understand, please visit the front desk and we will walk you through it. Translation assistance may also be available on request.

Attendance is a critical part of your studies at Alpha English Academy — and for Student Visa holders, it is also a visa condition. This policy explains how we track attendance, what happens if your attendance falls below the required level, and what support is available if you are struggling to attend regularly.

To maintain your student visa, you must demonstrate satisfactory progress in your course. This policy outlines how we assess your progress, what “satisfactory” means, what happens if you are not meeting the required standard, and how we will support you before taking any formal action.

We want every student to succeed. This policy is designed to keep you on track and ensure you get the help you need early.

Alpha English Academy is committed to providing a safe, supportive and age-appropriate environment for all students under the age of 18. Before enrolment is confirmed, we require written consent from a parent or legal guardian, verified accommodation and welfare arrangements, and a signed Written Agreement. A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) will not be issued until these conditions are met. All staff and contractors who interact with under 18 students are required to hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Throughout their studies, under 18 students receive additional orientation, regular welfare check-ins, and ongoing monitoring of their accommodation and wellbeing. Parents and legal guardians will be kept informed of any significant matters relating to attendance, course progress, or welfare — and where necessary, the College will engage accommodation providers, emergency contacts, or relevant authorities without delay.
